Your checkout assistant needs to focus fully on scanning the items correctly, using the right barcodes and offering loyalty scheme promotions. As a result, they sometimes lose track of the shopping trolley. This means that, more often than necessary, items remain in the trolley that should have been scanned.
Many unpaid items go unnoticed at the checkout. The Photo Alert camera checks shopping trolleys by taking an automated photograph.
A 7-inch monitor at the till displays the contents of the trolley, allowing cashiers to easily check that all items have been scanned correctly.

Using advanced AI monitoring, Veesion continuously analyses customer behaviour to detect suspicious activity. As soon as a potential shoplifting incident is identified, you will immediately receive a notification with video footage of the incident.
